FAQ
What is Boneyard Robotics?
Boneyard Robotics is a diverse, supportive, and accepting FIRST family which serves as a benevolent, creative, and inspiring home to build a better future for all. In the Boneyard, we view each individual team member as an important asset to our team family. We celebrate our accomplishments as a team as well as our strengths as individuals.
In a broader sense, Boneyard Robotics is a high school robotics team under the FIRST Robotics Competition program. During this year’s competition season, Rebuilt, Boneyard forged their robot, Pelvis Presley, and faced off against 90 other NC teams to earn a spot at the State Championship event. With their background in diversity, inclusion, and passion for spreading STEM education to their community, they won the Engineering Inspiration award at both their District and State levels, qualifying them for the FIRST Championship in Houston.
Will you be competing in any off-season events?
Boneyard Robotics will be competing in THOR East 2026! The event will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Douglas Byrd High School in Fayetteville, NC.
